I would recommend avoiding 10.10 NBR unless you are using it on a
tablet. There are quite a few problems, not the least being you need a
fairly new Netbook - my eeepc 1000H was basically un-usable. I mention
the tablet, because some of the other defects seem to make sense on
the tablet sensibilities - locked down interfaces with little need for
the terminal or nautilus for instance. See here:

Unfortunately it's just not as good as 10.04 NBR, which ran on the
older hardware without any dramas.
