[Ubuntu-users] fsck shows errors on main partition only when mounted

Thanks for the link to smartmontools.  It looks very useful.

I have installed the package and run the command you
suggested.  I guess the output looks reassuring -- it does
look similar to the example you posted.  I will continue
deciphering the output.
