GRUB SYMBOL MISSING

Dear team,

I Using uduntu 10.04,i need to upgrade to 10.10.
So i upgrade using by system upgrade.after completing the upgrade.i re-start the system
After re-starting the system.following commend is coming 

GRUB SYMBOL MISSING

Pls give me the solution
