"120f" is equivalent to something like 48C - is well within the
operating temperature of hard drives. If you look at the specs for HDs
you will find that their operating temps max out at well above 48C.

Yes of course it is.
But you said that what you have is only 2 months old which means that
the whole sheebang is still under warranty and is subject to replacement
under that warranty.
However, the first thing here is not to get panicky - your problem will
get suggestions for its resolution if you provide the answers to any
questions put to you by the people who are trying to help you in this
list :-) .
