Run it in gdb the gnu c/c++ compiler debugger, reproduce the bug
causing it to crash, get a backtrace, apt-get source the code. Go look
what went wrong and fix it. Save your fix under another file_name.c.
run diff original.c other_file_name.c. Submit your patch to the
developers upstream for a fix to come in through the updates.
