Please don't insult Alfred.

However, not that I would ever defend this <person-sort-of>, he used
to be sharp as a tack - there was a site somewhere many years ago that
had clips of his debates with Ann Richards when he was running for
Governor of Texas contrasted with his (ha ha) debates with the
spineless fob Kerry in 2004.  He used to be pretty good on his feet,
but by 04 he looked like a recovering junkie.

Now that I've totally screwed this thread into politics, I'm dropping
it.  Let's get back to a good subject for conversation, discussion and
technical fencing - Ubuntu!  :-)
