Oh, I've posted that bit more than once on the Kubuntu list. Not sure if
they appreciate it, but that is the way it is. Only the Almighty knows
why the KDE bunch goes off on it's tangents.  They crowed about pulse
finally being installed and supported for 10.10, (but not for LTS 10.4?)
but left out pavucontrol in the install. Makes me wince. For the life of
me, I don't see how that peanut thing has EVER done one damn thing
useful for me. But, someone had a vision! 

Kubuntu is like a much loved spouse that has a thing for Australian
sailors and foghorns. You know when she'll run off and where to, so you
live in fear of foggy nights.
