It likely would _physically_ survive ;)
I took my first programming course eight years before Linus
Torvalds was born. I have contributed to an uncounted number of
system crashes in the last half century.

I've always thought it a good idea to know what "shiny red
button" did BEFORE pressing. A contemporary, while visiting the
city fire dispatch center, once asked "what does this button do"
as he accidentally pressed it. I tripped every fire siren in the
county - ~15 local fire departments.
