My first modem was 300 baud as well. I remember watching text crawl
across the screen from a BBS and thinking that was pretty awesome. Now
if all the graphics don't pop up right away I get impatient. I was the
first on the block with 16 MEGS of ram and that cost $600 as well as HDs
going for a dollar a meg. Those were the days when you could run OS/2.
Boy IBM dropped the ball there.
