When am using windows, the card works well. It has a green light and a
flashing orange light.
When I switch to Ubuntu (or any other linux), only a steady green light
appears and no orange light and the OS shows the connection as inactive.
(Wireless is OK)

Hello...
1) It is fast ethernet only, that is, 10/100 not 100/1000...
2) e100 is already loaded
What is your problem? What do you mean by it does not work?
