It's been 15 years since I last used nn, but I think it's the most powerful
newsreader I had ever used.

Maybe I haven't looked at the newer newsreaders enough, but the ability to
"kill" a topic, a thread, or even "kill" a user--for 30 days--helped
maintain sanity.  Wish I had those features in my email.

Have you gotten it to work under ubunutu?  I last tried getting it to
run--many years ago--under Slackware without any luck.
