Oh dear......How many times must I state this....
I NEVER upgrade from one version to the next.
ALL my installations are FRESH, UNADULTERATED installations.

No, not really - certainly not after reading the above. It seems that
you don't read, or perhaps don't comprehend, what people post in
response to your questions/replies.
Nevertheless, I am more than happy to close this long winded thread
because I now see that carrying on would simply be a pointless exercise
- and I have other matters requiring my attention.
