Goodbye Linux/Ubuntu

*Well I'll add my two cents worth...I have been using Ubuntu, since it
first came out, and have had only a few problems, most were my fault, if
I needed some help to get what ever program to work, there was help from
this list, or I googled it...
I do remember back when I used WINDOZE, when I would download a app, I
would seem to end up with a problem in windoze not running right...It
became so bad that I had to re-install WIN, not once but many times to
get rid of the problems...Also with getting effected by some virus, or
worm, this I do not worry about since I started using Linux some 15, to
20 years ago...
My first linux OS was Debian, (NO GUI) at that time, I used it for quite
a few years, then new programs for Linux came around, Libranet for one,
but that died out after the originator passed away...So then not long
after that Ubuntu came about, I've used it ever since...
Most of the problems I have seen here on this list, are mostly with
laptop users, newbies, but that is expected for all new users to linux...
I myself use a Desktop, with three HD's, dual boot, everything works,
WIFI, Video, Sound, Firefox, Thunderbird, Skype, you name it all has
worked for me...Even Safari written for Mac, which just came out works
using WINE!...
So it is a learning curve to anyone right out from WINDOZE...
Larry
