Goodbye Linux/Ubuntu

I think the biggest problem that you might be facing, which is also
the problem I am facing, is than I am 10 times more adept on Windows
than I am on Linux and rarely can't fix any issues I'm experiencing in
Windows but in Linux I'm a n00b.

What you do is up to you but IMO never giving up is the best option; I
have built an Ubuntu HTPC which is been a serious pain in the arse but
its just about done. It has taken ages to get working how I want it
(about 3 months on tinkering with the software at the weekends), cost
lots of money and many man hours spent watching and listening to media
and then tweaking accordingly.

Also I have a VPS in France on which I host two websites, this is a
Debian VPS. I also have several Debian VPSs at home for audio
streaming etc...The list goes on, my point it: submerge your self in
Linux, get down and dirty and learn it like you know Windows, then I
don't think you will want to leave.

Peace.
