Hello;
I download the iso image ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso to my PC,
running windows 7, then used windows 7 burn ISO to burn it to a CD, OK,
Then I put the CD in the drive, reboot computer. Ubuntu boot windows
comes up, I select install, then all what I see is dots running
around. This took 20 minutes and nothing was happening. I click ESC
key, then I see messages repeating as following:
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sdc
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sde
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sdc
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sde
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sdc
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sde
etc....
Do you think something went wrong with the disk burning?
This is a new PC, intel i-7 930
I tried to boot 2 times, and the same problem. Installation just hangs.
thanks,
