pip's printer problem

Hi everyone, I have an HP 1200 PSC and have tried to search for drivers in
the "system-Admin-printer-server-new-printer-forward" route, but haven't
found yet. I have ubuntu 9.10 and have tried to put the disc supplied with
the printer into the PC but it does nothing........I would like to use the
Printer, scanner, copier, so what should I do..........please help
