Bad signature for Ubuntu 10.04

 I am not getting much replies or insight into this ubuntu problem so far... I do not know what I will do, probably try fedora if I don't get a good reply to this question

Hi,
I downloaded Ubuntu 10.04 and the corresponding SHA1SUM and SHA1SUM.gpg files. I got a bad signature error when trying to verify it. 
I searched on the internet and found a new signature has been created on this thread at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/574184
But I cannot locate the new signature file anywhere. 

Can someone please tell me where the new signature files are located ?
