embedded flash won't play, but over at youtube, no problem.

i'm not sure if this is related to the flash issues discussed
earlier, but on a number of sites i browse to, if someone has embedded
a youtube video, if i click on "play", the play button clearly dims
slightly so that i can see it's being recognized, but the video
doesn't play. on the rare occasion that it *does* play, it's almost
impossible to stop after that (again, it's clear the stop button is
being pressed, it's just not being processed).
on the other hand, for embedded videos like that, if i *right* click
and select "play at youtube", it will take me to the youtube page and
play perfectly fine. so it's apparently something about the
embedding. thoughts?

p.s. when the embedded video is non-responsive, that typically
includes the X to make the google ad go away as well.
