Firefox Font Rendering Under 10.04

Hi,

Firefox font rendering is too bad under 10.04. It doesnt take changes made
under Preferences>Appearance. Can anyone suggest how to control Hinting and
Smoothing for Browsers, especially Firefox. I have a 27 inch monitor and it
really looks bad :(
