I turned it into a blogpost on my tech blog, and a friend has pointed
out that the Computer Janitor app can apparently also do this
tidying-up for you automatically, which I did not know.

I don't 100% trust the Janitor myself [watched too many episodes of
/Scrubs/ ;¬) ] but it might be a much easier way.
