/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lANN

I installed libann-dev and it automatically installed libann0 also.
But when I tried to build it again it gave the same error

lucian at schwarz:~/work/ransac/build$ cmake --build ../
Linking CXX executable coloredElevationMap
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lANN
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [coloredElevationMap] Error 1
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/coloredElevationMap.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
lucian at schwarz:~/work/ransac/build$

Should I pre - configure / build / compile something else before ?

Cheers,
