Cannot print after going to Ubuntu 10.04

I've been using Ubuntu for the past year but after upgrading to the 10.04 it seems my desktop cannot print. I have an error log message which is nearly 20 pages. It attempts to print but stops. Afterwhich it does but prints 
"**** Unable to open the initial device, quitting" It is a HP deskjet 932C. It is connected with a USB cable and does work with windows (I dual boot). It did work in ubuntu 9.10. 
Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
