You might want to consider reinstalling the released software. I know
that you like to drag alphas to betas to RC, which is great so long as
you are filing bugs along the way. But for your everyday system,
please reinstall from a released .iso when new versions are available.
Updates through the whole development cycle will only give you buggy,
hard to fix installs.
