Support of zen in LTS 10.04

I assume that you mean xen not zen because Ubuntu has never supported
zen (although you are always free to install it, of course).

Both Ubuntu and RHEL have moved to kvm because it has been merged into
the kernel whereas xenhas not and will most likely not be merged any
time soon.
