Support of zen in LTS 10.04

Wasn't there some politics involved, whereby Microsoft now has some
involvement with the Xen makers in Cambridge (UK) and many Open Source
projects decided to concentrate on the more independent KVM? I'm almost
sure I read that somewhere.
