Basil, I'd suggest that, if what you _need_ is such simple games, that
you get a copy of Winduhs and run it in a VirtualBox.

Or see if the Winduhs games without which you cannot do are available
through WINE.

Or get over your long-time addiction and learn a new (simple) game or
two.
