As Franz said, it's most likely just boot order...
On Lenovos, you can hit F12 (all the Lenovo/IBM systems should be the
same way) at the boot splash screen (the one that has the Lenovo or
IBM logo) to get the boot menu. There you can select various options
such as CD, Floppy (if applicable), Hard disks and USB devices.
Also, you can get into the BIOS (F2 at the splash screen) and change
the order permanently to whatever you wish.
