10.04 and nVidia

After frequent attempts, it's apparent that Ubuntu beta1 is "busted" 
when it comes to at least some nVidia drivers. The error is that the 
system can't load the nVidia kernel module. This is a 64-bit box with a 
nVidia 6150 LE chipset. I updated after install but the system won't 
load the GUI once a nVidia driver is chosen.
