Dotan, you might give this a try: open synaptic & change your partner
repository from karmic to lucid (Settings|Repositories|Third-Party
Software|http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu|Edit). Update & then search
'java6', update sun-java6-jre and sun-java6-plugin to -18. I've just
tested this on hardy (64bit) and karmic (32bit & 64bit) (verified on the
java.com site) and it works. You can then change the partner repo back
to karmic if you wish.
