Did you install the OSE version from the repositories or by
downloading a .deb file (or some other file) of the "real thing" from
virtualbox.org?
Probably the easiest way *if* you installed it from the repositories
or a .deb would be to run Synaptic from System | Administration and
search for "virtualbox". Look for any that are installed - the
left-most box will be filled in. Click on any installed versions,
click "completely remove" and then click "Apply".
You can click the column headers to sort by that column, so after the
search is complete, sort by the first column & look right at the top.
Any installed packages should now be listed first.
