The apt source list is not readable

Good Mornimng I have recieved the following indication from the system

Ein unlösbares Problem ist während der Initialisierung der Package
information aufgetreten.

Bitte melden Sie einen Fehler im Paket »update-manager« und fügen Sie
die folgende Fehlermeldung in den Fehlerbericht ein:

'E:Missgestaltete Zeile 5 in Quellliste /etc/apt/sources.list (»URI
parse«), E:Die Liste der Quellen konnte nicht gelesen werden.'

which I will translate for you: there exists an unrepairable problem
during the initialising of the package manager/ update manager.
 
E:deformed/broken line, line 5, in the source list The list of resources
could not be read

I have atempted to remadie this problem with the f command but i
appearently had written it incorreclty and was unable to use this
function.

I would appreciate any help in the matter
