Access to mail yahoo account by the thunderbird

Then... The only solutions is to pay for the yahoo plus services?, why with the windows mail I can have access to yahoo mail for free?

Agree. It's pretty amazing that folks will spend hours of their time
(and the time of others) rather than simply paying $20 per year...

Note: I messed around with the ypop et al "solutions" awhile back just
to test. Would get it working, Yahoo! would make a change, everyone
scrambled to try and get it working... it was like wack-a-mole.
Certainly $20 per year will not break the OP's bank.
