PCI-Serial port success

     I bought this pci card for $9.00 and was surprised it now works. 
The original pci serial port I was told was good cost $100.00 so one for 
less than $10.00 was a surprise. This  Oxford Semiconductor Ltd device 
has a jumper that you can set to zero, 5 volts, or 12 volts. I decided 
to try 12 volts but it would not work with my fldigi controller.

     I set it to 0 volts and the thing works fine. I could not imagine 0 
volts was right but it is. So I am now ready to work the digital world 
again.
