reasons why Ubuntu 9.10 crashes so frequently

1. I was a huge KDE fan back in the 3.x days.  I've tried to warm up to 
4.x. It's very slick looking, but I find it not as usable.  In fact it 
drove me to become a GNOME devotee (shudder).

I still install it, just to keep up, but lately I've been liking it even 
less.
