The following worked for me after installing alpha 3 and installing 
guest additions. It worked OK but the cursor was sill a little jumpy 
until I ran the lucid updates, since then everything seems normal. Make 
sure your VirtualBox is up to date as well as the guest Additions 
sometimes get tweaks to take care of weird quirks like this.
