Hello,
I'm reading man pages, and when the man page references another man page
with something like
(see pipe(7))
I do not know how to load that page into the reader. I can open the page
in gedit by surfing to the folder in Nutilus, and opening the archived
file in Archive Manager, but do not know how, as you can see below, to
open it with the man page reader.
Could someone please tell me how?
ray at RaysComputer:~$ man pipe7
No manual entry for pipe7
ray at RaysComputer:~$ man pipe(7)
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('
ray at RaysComputer:~$ man pipe.7
No manual entry for pipe.7
ray at RaysComputer:~$ man /usr/share/man/man1/man.7
man: /usr/share/man/man1/man.7: No such file or directory
No manual entry for /usr/share/man/man1/man.7
ray at RaysComputer:~$
Thanks, Ray Parrish
