Oh, and XDMCP does not let you suspend a session and then reconnect later on, maybe from a different location, with everything running as it was. NX does. VNC does, but does not have automatic starting and stopping of sessions as in NX, you have to do that by hand.... NX is also much better than VNC over a slow network.
