  Hmm, a driver bug?  Nvidia X Server Settings indicate that I'm running 
195.36.24, this was the option in the restricted drivers choice.   Restricted
Drivers shows: (version current) [Recommended], versions 173 and 96 show 
driver not activated when clicked on.
