Help with VNC multiple user access

I've got vncserver running at bootup as server:1 and i can access it
remotely. how do i edit /etc/init.d/vncserver to allow connections from
other users to see their desktops.
I have a second user which works if i manually start vncserver :2 etc but
this isn't kept over a reboot.
