10.04 switch off trouble

So, I might give more details of the trouble/bug.
I did try adding this shut-off button on the panel, and has worked once. After one reboot, this button turns grey, inactive. I can't switch off, and when I switch off from the initial 10.04 menu (right button, upper tray), it only closes the session.

Terminal command don't work neither :when I type "shutdown -h -P", result is 'delay awaited' or something like this 'temps attendu' in French.
