Or for that matter, if they would use the latest OSS code, rather than
what was accepted into the kernel more than 6 years ago, and is now
hopelessly broken. But, no one seems willing to update OSS in the
kernel. Le Sigh.

The thing that really kills me about pulseaudio is, all it does in
reality is add latency. If people just used alsa or add in the real
current OSS, they get much better sound.
