Missing update-motd script

Hi there!

I want to tweak the /etc/motd output, and so I aptgetinstalled the
update-motd package. Well... documentation like [*] tells me that there
should be things like an update-motd script and an
/etc/cron.d/update-motd conjob. And /usr/share/doc/update-motd/README
suggests to read the update-motd man page.

Well, I do not have any of them:

The /etc/update-motd.d/old directory is my change, I moved some files I
do not like to be processed when updating the motd. But there's no
update-motd script on the system.
