ABSDoug clearly states above that sda5 is his Ubuntu 9.04 installation (unless this is a typo) and sda6 is Ubuntu 10.04.

You DON'T need a /home or any other partition to run Linux of any flavour.


sda1 = Compaq Windows XP Recovery
sda2 = Wnidows XP
sda3 = Windows XP Data area
sda4 = Extended partition (not 'Logical', ABSDoug)
sda5 = Ubuntu 9.04
sda6 = Ubuntu 10.04
sda7 = Swap (for 9.04 and 10.04)
