nm-tool showing phony info?

Don't know. I just used it when I found it on the wifi troubleshooting
page. Mine is showing correctly:

*.: Infra, [snipped], Freq 2437 MHz, Rate 54 Mb/s, Strength 100 WPA2

on a Netgear WGR614 v8
