Hello everybody

In the previous release, *Ubuntu 9.10, Network Manager was still
automagically being UNinstalled while installing WICD. But in Lucid,
this does not happen. That's why, I have removed Network Manager
myself, because I am not sure whether some software conflict could
arise while maintaining both packages. When doing so via "Synaptic", I
saw two options for removal: simply "removal" and "total" removal
(purge). The latter option implied the removal of a whole bunch of
packages - that's why I have decided to chose the "simple" removal for
the time being. I am not sure whether packages which would vanish with
a "total" removal are still necessary.

Respectfully yours,

Bas.
