How to disable the internal speaker in Lucid

I would not physically remove it because it does serve a purpose, I
would attempt to disable it inside Lucid. The reasons are that the
speaker emits patterns to tell you what isn't being correctly
detected. It's a lot of help, especially since I work with a lot of
older hardware.
