creating extended partition/ deleting partition on windows 7 netbook

If he already has 4 primary partitions he can't create a 5th partition as
extended... dos partition labelling only supports 4 partitions hence the
'hack' that got developed with the concept of an extended partition
containing multiple logical partitions...
