date/time lost by synce-pcp

when using synce-pcp to copy files from a pda, the date/time
information is lost, which is very bad, because it is
an essential information for images as well as sound records.
Does anybody know a better program?
(of course, for files on a memory card, it is possible to put
it in a card reader, but some files are in the internal memory...)
