Python segfault

I'm getting fairly regular messages from logcheck about a python segfault.
the log entry says:
kernel: [362610.780091] python[4152]: segfault at 7fec00ce4190 ip
00007fec00ce4190 sp 00007fffdfa340b8 error 15 in
libQtGui.so.4.6.2[7fec00cd1000+3f000]

A quick google didn't produce any conclusive explanation.  Anyone else see
this?  Is this likely to be a problem with a particular app that uses
python, or with python itself?
