I think this was a bug in the installer at one point, the entry
appears in the menu until you reboot then it disappears.  For me it
was fixed by an update.  You can always create a new entry yourself in
the Internet menu.
Right click on the menu bar and select Edit Menus.  Then go into the
internet menu (or wherever you want it) and select New Item and enter
google-chrome as the command.
